Luxury Party Buses in Lemon Grove, California

LEMON GROVE, CALIFORNIA has the motto "Best Climate on Earth," and if you've ever had the pleasure of visiting this lovely city, you must agree. The population at last count was just about 25,000. It's perhaps best known as the home of the world's biggest lemon, which is a 10' statue of the zesty citrus fruit situated across from an actual lemon grove. Maybe you're coming into town to see that, or perhaps you just want to try some of the great restaurants and bars within city limits. Either way, these are the best places to eat and drink within the 91945 zip code.

Lido's Italian Foods

is a charming Italian establishment where you will want to sink right into the cozy seating and just indulge in some of the best food in town. We absolutely love their pizzas here, made with just the perfect thin crust and topped with a generous amount of cheese and toppings. All of the pastas are great too, and we love the lasagna, ravioli, manicotti, and of course spaghetti! Very reasonable prices too. You can find Lido's Italian Foods on Broadway between Citrus Street and Vista Avenue.

Jack in the Box

... Please don't fault us for including a fast food restaurant on this list, but Jack in the Box is just a California classic! We love their big juicy burgers, their great French fries, and of course their famous drive thru... Did you know that Jack in the Box was the establishment that first introduced the drive thru to the world? How can we not give our respect to this place? Gotta love it. Located on Broadway between Grove Street and Kempf Street.

El Pollo Loco

of course means "The Crazy Chicken," and we just love this restaurant! The food is a wonderful mix of Mexican, Tex Mex, and American flavors. The restaurant is built on a family recipe of marinated chicken, with flavors of citrus, spices, and herbs, and that's where the name and the wonderful dishes originate. The chicken tortilla soup is an essential for us, and we always order that alongside one of the entrees! You'll find El Pollo Loco at 7087 Broadway.

Sushi Time

gets rave reviews from all the sushi aficianados who frequent the restaurant, and we really love it too! I don't think we've ever visited a Japanese restaurant with a friendlier staff, and the atmosphere is so fun and trendy. The sushi rolls are all very generously sized, and the Chicken Yakisoba is another item that we'd recommend to you if you're tired of the same old thing. The spicy tuna roll with tempura crumbs sprinkled on top is fantastic, and we'd recommend the San Diego roll too! You can find Sushi Time on Federal Boulevard near the intersection with Broadway.

Panda Restaurant

is the place that we go in Lemon Grove to satisfy our cravings for great Chinese food, and they have never let us down. The egg foo young is some of the best that we've ever had, and the chow mein is really packed with flavor with just the perfect amount of crispiness. This restaurant is nothing fancy, just a cozy little neighborhood hole in the wall, but we love it. The menu is really extensive too. You'll find Panda Restaurant on Broadway between Grove Street and Lemon Grove Avenue.

Antique Row Cafe

is the perfect place to stop when you're doing your antique shopping downtown. They're open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they've got a great outdoor dining area where you can enjoy the warm breeze. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, so be sure to arrive early to give yourself some extra time. For dinner we'd highly recommend the prime rib along with a baked potato. The salads and breads are wonderful too! You will find Antique Row Cafe on Lemon Grove Avenue between Lester Avenue and Lemon Grove Way.

Carnitas Uruapan Mexican Family Restaurant

is just like the one you know in Tijuana, but it's right here in our neck of the woods. No need to cross the border for some great Mexican food! They serve the carnitas with fresh tortillas, delicious beans, chopped cilantro, chile peppers, and diced tomatoes, and we like to order some guacamole with it too just to give it a little extra oomph! Very highly recommended! You'll find Carnitas Uruapan on Broadway near the intersection with Kempf Street!

Por Favor Mexican Restaurant

has to have its recommendation on this page too, because it's yet another great spot where you can get some really great authentic Mexican food at a very affordable price! We love the carne asada burrito, which is so giant, and it comes with their delicious beans and rice. So good! There are a few of these locations throughout SoCal, but this one is probably our favorite. You can find Por Favor Mexican Restaurant at 3307 Lemon Grove Avenue.

Barnes Bar-B-Que - CLOSED

is a hidden gem in Lemon Grove! Many don't even know about this place, but they really should. It's a small hole in the wall restaurant, but it packs a big punch when it comes to flavor and quality! Fantastic beef ribs, pork ribs, and all your other barbecue favorites! The flavor is so rich, it takes over your senses. As true barbecue lovers, we can tell you that this place is beyond excellent. You can find it at 2625 Lemon Grove Avenue.

Anna's Family Restaurant

is the perfect spot to go with family and friends to enjoy a casual dinner without all the fuss. There's no pretense here, just a cozy clean environment and really great high quality food. The portions are very generous too! We highly recommend the sweet potato pancakes! You won't find food this good at any other family style restaurant in Lemon Grove! Anna's Family Restaurant is located on Broadway near the intersection with Columbus Place!
